Tic-Tac-Toe and Nine Digits Math Puzzle
This is another one of those dual purpose puzzles!
Each peg has a number side (as pictured) and a colored side. The classic two-person strategy game of Tic-Tac-Toe is played with the colored sides of the pegs.
There are math puzzles to be solved if playing with the numbered side of the pegs! One puzzle is to place the pegs 1 through 9 on the board so that each row, column and diagonal adds up to 15. Another puzzle is to place the numbered pegs so that each row, column, and diagonal to add up to a unique number. A more advanced challenge is to place the numbered pegs so that each row and each column is the square of a whole number! We provide additional math games and puzzles, too!
This is a very nice choice for advanced middle school or early high school students. Ideal for use in the class room or for homeschoolers, too!
The game is self contained in it's own beautiful wooden box (approx. 5.5 x 3.5 x 1.5 inches). It is very nicely made! The wooden cover offers a perfect surface for laser engraving a name, logo, or special message!
