Tower of Hanoi
A mathematical wooden brain teaser game - very popular for use in math lessons at school and in management aptitude tests.
Start with all 9 wood discs placed on the central stand. The goal is to transfer all the discs to the other stand in their original order. You may move just one disc at a time, and a larger piece must never be placed over a smaller one.
This premium Tower of Hanoi game is larger than previously offered at Frik-n-Frak's and features a lid that interlocks with the base. The lid slides conveniently on and off for game setup and for securing the game pieces and offers a very nice surface for Laser Engraving! Ask us how! Object: Move the tower of 9 wooden disks from one post to another post Difficulty: Grueling! Dimensions: Approx. 10 x 4 x 1.5 inches Tower of Hanoi (also known as the Pagoda Puzzle) is an ancient puzzle that uses repetitive sequential moves for its solution. Tower of Hanoi is a beautiful, self contained version of a centuries old puzzle!
There is a legend that talks about an ancient temple which is suppose to have a "Tower of Hanoi" puzzle, that has 70 disks instead of our 9 disks, in its basement. The legend states that when this puzzle is solved the end of time will occur. We have been told that if you worked every second of every day of your whole life - you would not be able to solve this 70 disk puzzle in your life time.
